Grace and Peace to you all.  This is a very "peculiar" season.  In fact, there is an unrelenting stirring in the spirit realm, so much so that many are experiencing an intense restlessness within.  Recently I participated in a 3-day revival where God made His presence known to those willing to go beyond the threshold of comfort.  He healed and delivered both laypersons and leaders through the pressing of the people.  But I asked myself this morning during our 5AM prayer as I shared with the women, "What would have happened to my healing, or the deliverance of those present, had we not "wrestled" or persevered for the sake of God's promise to heal and deliver? What if we would have all taken a passive attitude due to a distaste for inconvenience and/or the lying yet lingering existence of symptoms and false facts magnified by the enemy?  What if I would have stayed home--or turned in early for the evening? What if I would have refused to "wrestle with God" for a breakthrough?  Two weeks ago, while sitting in the car with a colleague as we prayed for God's moving during a ministerial assignment,  we said our "Amens" then sat silent when the Spirit of the Lord spoke the following into the atmosphere and into our spirits:  "I have heard your petitions and your pleas, but do you trust Me to do the very things you have asked Me to do?"  That word remained with us during that week, and was at the forefront of my mind when I was greeted with the opportunity for healing, and the question was asked of me: "Do you receive your healing today--if so, then Receive it in Jesus' Name!" The place where the person had laid hands upon me began to burn, and when asked to "do what I could not do prior," to my astonishment I could do just what I could not within those few minutes of prayer, and have been functioning in that healing ever since (Praise Be To God!) I wrestled with God for my healing for several weeks prior, then I made my petition known, and when asked if I received that, which I believed, I trusted God...

 

 What am I trying to say (or what is God trying to say)?  Stop asking amiss, but trust Him to move.  Not only that, but He has given us the approval to wrestle with Him for the sake of a breakthrough, simply to force us out of mundane routine and the sin of passivity.  Jacob wrestled and prevailed, David wrestled in another fashion--and prevailed, even Jesus Christ--Himself wrestled, and prevailed.  Will you?

 

"Do you receive that, which you believe; and do you trust God to do the very things you have asked Him to do on your behalf?
